macOS 10.12.5 Update

I've done the 10.12.5 update a few days ago and it seems that everything went smooth. But now i have a curious problem with my nvidia card.

I installed the latest web drivers shortly after the update, applied agpfix and it seems to work. But if i do a real poweroff i have the black screen issue again. I apply the agpfix again and after a soft reset everything is ok. But after power off the black screen issue is back again...

I tried to switch from agpfix to lilu and the nvidia fix kext but that results in a kernel panic. Hmm... now i'm stuck. Does anyone have another idea how i can fix the black screen issue or whats the agpfix problem maight be?

For the quasi-newbie in this situation. How do I input the invalid ig-platform id during the clover loading stage?

And if successful in getting into Sierra (instead of freezing during boot as current) do I inject the new kexts using KextBeast or manually install into the clover EFI folder?
Thanks.....

Update. I was able to click on the default id numbers (0x00000000) and change them. This did allow a single round of booting. But playing with kexts both ways did not fix install (KextBeast to Library/extensions then placing in clover/kexts/other). So at the moment, still getting shut down during boot.

Update 2. I can't be sure which of these changes fixed the problem, but it boots now.
I applied KextBeast to the other lib folder system/library/extensions in addition to the two other places I installed the new kexts (above). By itself that did not fix it. Then I ran Multibeast again, changing machine type from iMac14,2 to iMac 17,1

Among all these changes, something worked and it now booted correctly.

Can you give me step by step guidance on how to to do that? Right now my computer is stuck in the Apple Logo. Thank you!

Warning IOGEAR usb bluetooth users, updating seems to have messed up my device, I can't connect to my PS4 controller or apple Magic Trackpad!

Were you able to make your PS4 controller work?

Ok, I managed to run lilu (via clover kexts folder). My problem was an old version of AppleALC, with the current version Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup works like a charm without a kernel panic.

updated in that order, verbose shows a brief start up of xxxxxxx nanoseconds. I have an older 10.12.3 install on another drive and used that to get in. any recommendations?

I have a ga-z77-ds3h board, i7 processor. Maybe I have a bad kext somewhere.

*****update*****

IntelGraphicsFixup.kext was the problem. Booted into my other partition and took it out of the extensions folder. Booted up perfectly after that.
