I tried the direct upgrade and got stuck with the spinning ball before the installation screen.
After trying all kind of boot settings i upgraded my BIOS from the U1J, the latest officially supported version to the U1K beta version.
After that i used only the cpus=1 and it booted just fine. I installed Sierra on top of my El Capitan.
But i am stuck now again as i cannot install the Audi drivers. The Multibeast log shows:

10/29/16 12:11:20 - Starting MultiBeast 9.0.1-20161010
10/29/16 12:12:15 - Mounting EFI
10/29/16 12:12:16 - Installing 'Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC889'
10/29/16 12:13:24 - Install of '/Users/sascha/Downloads/MultiBeast - Sierra Edition/MultiBeast.app/Contents/Resources/Clover-ALC889.pkg' failed.
'installer: Package name is Clover ALC889
installer: Installing at base path /
installer: The install failed

I found something about SIP that should be disabled, so i changed config.plist
from
<dict>
<key>BooterConfig</key>
<string>0x28</string>
<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
<string>0x3</string>
</dict>

to
<dict>
<key>BooterConfig</key>
<string>0x28</string>
<key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
<string>0x28</string>
</dict>

But that did not work. I still cannot install any drivers with Multibeast.

So i tried to get the auto drivers installed without Multibeast and tried this :

II. Realtek ALC AppleHDA Scripts
  1. Download script (select one script, Download/View Raw)
audio_pikeralphaALC-120.command.zip
    1. patch kernel cache
    2. native AppleHDA.kext (signed)
    3. installs AppleHDAxxx.kext (ex., L/E/AppleHDA892.kext)
    4. not supported: ALC269 and ALC283
  1. Double Click Downloads/audio_. . .ALC-120.command
  2. Enter Password
  3. Answer questions (y/n)
  4. Restart
again no sound device after reboot.

Are you in safe mode ? MultiBeast cannot mount the EFI partition in safe mode.

I found something about SIP that should be disabled, but have no clue how to do that. Please Help!

I have very similar hardware and I'm trying my first hackintosh build

I have updated my motherboard to UEFI in preparation of the install. Can you share any of your post install configurations used for multi beast? I have been reading through many threads trying to piece together what will work best
