Hey, Stork, et al. ...I am just blown away. Stork, hope you get paid good money, guy!
Nope. Just a volunteer who enjoys the work. tonymacx86 and MacMan are the owners, and the rest of us like their approach so much that we just got active (back in 2010 for me).

I will let you all know how it is going and maybe take some pictures if I have trouble or maybe find a fix for something with the different graphics card. Right now still too overwhelmed!! (First post!)
Welcome to the forum! I'll help as I can. I'll be updating the Build Description (Post#1) over the next couple days.

Followed this guide and got it to boot from USB, copied HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_5.kext to the Extensions folder. When trying to boot from my 960 EVO, it stops at "legacy shim 2"

Any clues on how I can fix this? NVidia drivers also messed up and not working for some reason.

I also tried making an SSDT and got an unknown CPU error.

This thread is dedicated to users that have the same build components as described in Post#1 - specifically the Skylake ASUS Z170 ROG MAXIMUS HERO motherboard based system. I have no knowledge of how to properly set up your Kaby Lake MSI Z270 SLI PLUS build.

I recommend you post your M.2 NVMe SSD problem in RehabMan's [Guide] HackrNVMeFamily co-existence with IONVMeFamily using class-code spoof.

This doesn't tell me a lot. See Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems.

...I also tried making an SSDT and got an unknown CPU error.
See toleda's macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management.

Does anyone else have issues with sleep?

I have my rig configured for dual boot. In Windows, it takes approximately 10 seconds to wake from sleep.

In OS X Sierra, I click on sleep and the screen goes black for about 10-15 seconds then comes back, still logged in and everything.

See Post #1, after the MultiBeast installation configuration for information on sleep/wake-up. Are you using CodexCommander?

every time I shutdown the computer it powers off then boots of its own accord in about 10secs.

I have a similar build and I use a BCM94352 for Wifi and BT. When I enable bluetooth and shutdown the computer with it still being enabled, it's going to restart itself after a few seconds of being "off". When bluetooth is off at the time of the shutdown, the computer will stay off. I tried to mitigate this issue by enabling ErP in the BIOS settings, but it didn't work. So I enabled HaltEnabler and FixShutdown_0004 in my config.plist. Now the problem is gone.

Are you referring to autopoweroff? I followed that command.

I believe I am. I am unsure how to check though. CodecCommander.kext lives in /Library/Extensions (I'm assuming CodexCommander was a typo)

Hi all,

Just want to inform you, that my HWsensors issue is fixed. Got in contact with Rehabman and he advised me to use his latest FAKESMC fork. Mine were very, very old.
After install (via kext beast) into l/e my Istats menu AND HW monitor works like a charm.

Just for you to know if you ran into trouble with this.
Best
Michael

When was the version of MultiBeast you last used?
