I am attaching the EFI partition per your instructions. I used nv_disable=1 with both gpus installed to be able to boot into the desktop.

My system is i7 5960x, 64gb ram, SLi 980ti, Asus rampage v motherboard. I am on Sierra 10.12.4
Oh, I also need a ioreg. Open ioregistryexplorer and save as. then post the file here. Thanks

I am sorry for the late reply, I was away from home for vacations. I just returned and I am attaching you the requested file.

So I've found a few problems in your clover folder. First of all you are using 2 different clover functions and a SSDT to rename AZAL to HDEF but that isn't related to your graphics issue. You only need 1 of the 3 things you are doing. Does your onboard audio work?

Back to your graphics:
Go to EFI/CLOVER/acpi/patched
Delete SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-BR3A.aml
Add the attatched SSDT-1 and SSDT-2
Reboot.

I just followed your instructions deleted SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-BR3A.aml and copied your ssdt files but unfortunately still does the same. Black screen (no signal on the monitor) after loading kexts. I can only boot with the nv_disable=1 like before. Nothing changed.

My onboard audio working perfectly, do I need to remove the AZAL to HDEF?

Here is my new ioreg.
They are loading correctly now. Try backing up and deleting DSDT.aml from EFI/CLOVER/acpi/patched, and reboot

I just tried. Deleted dsdt.aml and still the same black screen (no signal) after loading kexts. Tried also again with the single gpu and it works perfectly with the nvidia web driver. any other ideas? :banghead:

I have dual 980 ti's on a Z170 and they work as well as can be expected with the imac14,2 SMBIOS. SLI bridge does not matter. Might be barking up the wrong tree.

Maybe try booting blind and then turning on the monitors after macOS boots? Also, the macpro6,1 SMBIOS normally causes the problem you are seeing so perhaps your edit/patch to this did not work. You are aware that you must patch after every OS update?

2x980Ti here and it works perfectly fine ever since El Capitan.

Using SMBIOS 14,2 and boot GPU priority is set to Auto.

I have 2 monitors connected, one to each GPU and it works well.

Apps requiring CUDA cores see both GPUs and no issues at all.

The only problem I have is with FCPX stuttering which is a known issue with dual nVidia GPUs, but I don't use FCPX anymore.

You might want to make sure your iGPU is completely disabled in the BIOS and set GPU0 as priority.
