Huge CPU discounts at Microcenter

It's worth waiting a few days to see if Amazon and Newegg will lower prices too in March.
Microcenter limits these to in store only. Many live too far away from one to benefit from
these discounted prices. There is also state sales tax to consider. That can be as high as
10% in some states.

I'm actually fairly close to two of them... one in Brooklyn, and another in Paterson, NJ. Been to the Paterson store... great place to just geek out at all the shinies. Pretty decent help staff there as well, and on the walk from the bus stop you pass the famous Chocolate House. They have a neat shopping circular they'll mail to your house.

I drove into the Patterson store last Saturday. Their selection of 100 series boards are pretty sparse, but they have a good selection of 200 series boards. They knock 30 bucks off the motherboard when you buy it with the CPU. For an open box 100 Z170 ASRock, that means a motherboard for 50 bucks instead of 80. They have a 3.5% sales tax instead of the 7% because of the special trade zone they are located in. The deals are much better than what I could find on Newegg for the most part ($279 vs. $339 for 6700K or $299 vs. $349 for 7700K) for instance.
