Thanks Andy1. I don't seem to have any issue relating to audio. I am using the audio out of my monitor (currently connected via DP @ 30Hz) and have never had any trouble. It seems purely related to the DP video out. In any case, I appreciate your reply!

I'm trying to decide what monitor to buy for my NUC hackintosh. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if multiple monitors will ever work on it or there's still hope in the future.

Thanks in advance.

Curious to know if anyone has tried the latest update (10.12.4) and if there were any issues.
Thanks.

Updated last night, all went smoothly and I've not come across any new problems. You may want to check you are on a fairly recent version of Clover. Oh non skull canyon nuc, so post might not be so relevant to you.

No problems updating my NUC6i7KYK.
I updated Clover to v4045 prior to the update.

Thanks Rehabman. Upgrade went without hitch for me as well with original Clover. In fact, I forgot to update the git repository and run the steps before upgrade. I was able to update git and run the steps after the upgrade.

Thanks for your updates on the Git repos :)

  • Updated the NVME using the patch-nvme method and got panics indicating duplicate extension. Removed the IONVME kext in SLE to fix it.
  • Audio (onboard and HDMI) is causing panic and reboot. Disabling them in BIOS allows boot. I reverted back to the AppleHDA.kext from backup (which is the patched from 10.12.3) which temporarily fixed. Rechecked the configs and redid the DSDTs just to be sure but they didn't solve the reboots due to enabling of Audio.

Anyone else facing issues with Audio?
PS: Also latest clover I have is 4035.

Any new developments on getting hot plug monitors working?

And the occasional blacking out of the screen - 2/3s? Any ideas would be interesting as I've researched without getting any closer to understanding what is going wrong.
