Hi,

I just upgraded from a Gigabyte H87-D3H motherboard with an Intel i7-4770 and 16 GB Corsair RAM. I was running OSX 10.12.3 with no problems. Graphics card is an Nvidia geforce GT 520. Boot via Clover EFI.

New rig is an Asus B150 PRO GAMING/AURA with an Intel i7-7700 and 32 GB Corsair RAM.
Using the same disks, graphics card, Clover EFI etc.

Using OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and setting the FakeCPUID key to 0x0506E3 "SkyLake" which should be supported.

Now it hangs shortly after boot (photo attached). I've tried disabling everything in the BIOS per the guides and both OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi. Safe mode, single user etc. Nothing works.

I now cannot even boot my recovery USB, so I'm stuck in Windows.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My Clover zip is attached

Dave

Have made some progress. I can boot OSX using the Intel graphic chip on my motherboard. If I boot with the Nvidia GT-520 enabled, it just hangs. I would prefer to use the Nvidia GT-520 if possible because the Intel chip has problems in Linux. Also the on board sound chip, which I believe is a Realtek ALC1150 is not working. The on board Ethernet is working fine, so at lease I can get to the Internet.

I've attached a zip of my Clover EFI directory.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

More progress. If I completely disable the Intel graphics chip in the BIOS, I can boot with my Nvidia GT-520 card, although I can't get the Nvidia drivers to work. These are the latest web drivers from Nvidia, but OSX comes up with the native OSX drivers instead. Video is somewhat choppy with the native drivers.

So now, there are only two issues left. The Nvidia drivers and the Realtek ALC1150 sound card still don't work. I've used Multibeast to set up the latest drivers, but no luck yet.

Latest Clover zip is attached.

Many thanks for any help you can provide.
