Hi,

I accidentially bootet into macOS-Recovery from a clover USB. Bevore I wiped the main partition and the Bootcamp partition, because I wantet to sell it. The reoverypartition should be ok, as I didn't touch it at all, bevore I bootet from the Clover USB.
Now I only get a white screen, i already tried to reset the NVRAM and SMC(i think only the SMC reset worked)
I upgraded from a original 128gb SSD to a 480 GB OWC aura pro SSD 1-2 years ago.

I hope you can help me :)
Maybe there is something like a hard-reset I can try.

Yours Markus

Hardware:
MacBook Air 13" i5, 4GB memory

This is a forum for those that are installing OS X / macOS onto PC hardware, there are many other forums devoted to Apple hardware where your question might be more suitable.

However, if you are able to access the recovery partition you may be able to reinstall the operating system.

Do you see it if you press and hold the Option key after pressing power? If not as Pilgrim says you need to create an installer USB and boot from it (also by holding the Option key). If you need to reset NVRAM, hold Cmd+Opt, then press power and then (quickly) press and hold P+R as well. Keep all four keys held down until your machine has rebooted 2 or 3 times then release.

Edit: P+R not N+V

I know that, but as it seems like its a problem with clover, I think i have better chances to get a solution with your help here.
I only see a white screen, pressing the option key does not get me into the boot menu

As writen above, I only get a white screen, no apple logo nor a bootmenu :(

Have you tried holding cmd + R while you power on ?

Reset PRAM and boot from an installer USB.

Hi, did you find a solution ?
