Native NTFS Read & Write Support

That used to be on my list as well, but since I am using Paragon drivers for windows and macOS I really don't notice a difference anymore between HFS+ / NTFS...

Hopefully not new Apple- made processors. But what I really hope for is my dream Apple Magic Keyboard:
  • Full size
  • Full length touch bar (Touch ID too)
  • Lightning charger
  • Wireless
  • AND with function keys on touch bar (F1-F17)

I wonder if Apple does redo their Mac systems will they use a completely different CPU and Chipset. The new AMD stuff is coming out later this month that supposedly will easily beat whatever Intel has.

I don't think Apple would do that. That'd invalidate ALL of Apple's current computers. Ouch.

They would make all Macs work on their own cpu before they go to AMD. Everything they're making you can't mod at all anymore, so this is the way to kill our hacks. Including their own GPU. They switched from ppc to intel and they can switch again. it won't kill their market at all. Which is mostly phones anyways.

Hopefully not.:thumbdown
chicago_mike, where did you read the information about this?

I only hope our MacPro early 2008 can last until then and that they release good computers, otherwise this site will become very valuable.

The MPG or Mac Pro Gaming rig makes it's debut !
After a 3 year, 5 month wait the cylinder Mac Pro gets a refresh with Broadwell E chips / X99 chipset. Lower prices too that are competitive with the price / performance of Ryzen 7 chips. The Mac Pro will simply die out if they don't do something dramatic to spark interest in it. Dual Vega GPUs that don't suck for gaming and a base price around 2000 dollars for an I7-6800K version with 16 GB of ram and these would actually sell. Boot camp allows the install of Win10 for those that want that. Gaming is where all the money is today. Why can't Apple enter that market and be a player ? Who wants to have better gaming on their iPhone than their MP desktop anyway ? You would still be able to use this for FCP X video editing with no problem at all. This would give loyal Mac / Apple customers everything they could want in a small, quiet, energy efficient yet powerful Mac desktop. Will this ever happen ? When I look at Apple's offerings under Cook the last 4 years, probably not.

Preliminary reports have already stated that any 2017 Macbooks will have Kaby Lake CPUs and an iMac refresh will use those as well. Any transition to AMD could not be accomplished that quickly.

I need work station apple, not that any one working there is reading this!
Did you know search trends for hackintosh is falling on Google... I think all pros have already lost faith in apple... Only few hybrid artists like me still left here

Check any vfx tutorial till 2014 all on macs, post that all on windows...

Personally i have seen in 2017, these software now work better or at least more stable on bootcamp windows than mac. ( Same machine)
