I have the same motherboard, and intel NVMe drive and when trying to format the NVMe drive using Disk Utility to install El Capitan on it, it does not see the NVMe drive at all. Any ideas?

I realize this thread is over a year old now but it still seem rather active, let me know if I should post somewhere else.

I did my first hackintosh build a few months back and followed this guide. I have a few usb devices that I use (wireless usb headset, webcam, external hdd, keyboard, and mouse) but sometimes they don't all work after booting up MacOS. Most of the time they do work, but if I want to plug anything else in while it is running (say a usb drive) it won't always work either. Sometimes I need to unplug something that was working and take its spot. This is the case with both the motherboard IO panel as well as the front two USB 3.0 ports on my case. Did I install something incorrectly? I really don't know how to go about troubleshooting this.

Below is a screengrab from a post on page 15 from neilhart that shows what I did post install. The only difference is I used a newer version of the IntelMausiEthernet as the one in the picture wasn't available (Ethernet works fine still). I've also changed the System Definition to iMac 14,2 so I could update to Sierra, but the usb problems I am having have persisted in both El Capitan and Sierra.

Thanks in advance for any help, let me know if you need more info.

Also, does anyone else here dual boots windows 10 with this motherboard and use a single 3.5mm audio system? I have to switch which port it is plugged into depending on which OS I boot? Windows likes to use the green 3.5mm plug on the motherboard and macOS likes to use the blue one. I haven't found an easy way to get one of the OS's to use the other port... I'd rather not have to reach behind my computer every time I switch to the other OS.

Best,
Jac

Anyone knows if there's a way to get Atheros QCA61x4A wifi card working?
