Hi everyone,

I have 10.11.6 installed on my Acer. Almost everything works fine, except the following --

1. Sleep Usually works, but every once in a while -- when I try putting my computer to sleep, it would crash (?) . By crash I mean that the fans are spinning indefinitely and the led indicator says its on but my whole system is black and unresponsive.

2. Headphone audio won't work properly after sleep. Speakers work fine, but headphone would have shallow and distorted sound and wont work till I re-install all the kexts again. (partially fixed by setting darkwake=8, works after waking from sleep, also needs to replug headphone after sleep to make it work)

3. USB 2.0 wont work after sleep, 3.0 works (Fixed disabling XWAK)

Hi everyone,

I have installed the latest version of El Capitan on my acer r3-471t. The specs are the following --

i5-4210u
6gb ram

Sleep some times work -- it'd go into sleep and would successfully wake up -- other times it'd sleep with significant battery drain and other times, when I put it to sleep - instead of sleeping, it'd just hang.

Thanks in advance.

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting"

Corrected. Followed the FAQ. No avail :(

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read post #2 and the related section of the FAQ. Carefully.

Here's what I'm using:

1. Rehabman's HD4400 clover config

2. DSDTs --

"SMBUS Fix"
"IRQ Fix"
"RTC Fix"
"OS Check Fix"
"Fix Mutex with non-zero SyncLevel"
"Add IMEI"
"MironAudio -- HDEF Patch and System IRQ patch"
"6-series USB" (Enables sleep, without this, computer would restart waking from sleep)"

Should be fixed. Updated the file!

Now you need to retest and report any updates on the issue.

I went a day without sleep crash but it happened again today like always. I've updated the .zip

Since last time -- I've update the following hardware --

Stock wifi to BCM94352HMB
HDD to SSD (EVO 850)

Are the files in ACPI/origin a fresh extract?
Hard to tell because you're modifying the timestamp on all files in the ZIP instead of capturing actual file timestamps...
