Hello everyone I'm at a bit of a dilemma with my first hackintosh build, I , like almost everyone here am trying to build a pc with mac os because you can theoretically build faster rigs and on the cheap this way.

I am a graphic designer that feels constricted by my current 07 mac book pro I'd like to build something for video editing/ processing in HD , photoshop , illustrator and maybe even music production down the road.

I've already bought all these items for my build

arts list because to read through what I linked could give you a brain aneurysm.
all prices before tax

1:Mother board /
GIGABYTE GA-Z170N-WIFI / $134.99

2:processor / i7 6500k $334.59

3:RAM/ Crucial Ballistix DDR4 RAM (16GB) $109.99

4:SSD/ Memory and Storage/ Samsung 850 Pro 250GB SSD = $98.00

7:Box / Chassis / Housing = Cooler Master Elite 130 - Mini-ITX Computer Case with Mesh Front Panel and Water Cooling Support $49.99

8:GPU EVGA GEFORCE 750ti sc -

total : $1014 after tax and shipping.

Questions: I thought I did enough research but I'm asking if theres any issues here I followed tonymacx guidelines. And used pcpartspicker to try to eliminate the possibility of incompatibility but if you see anything please let me know.

BUT! ! ! This build is all about getting a faster Apple product while spending about 1/3 the price of something comparable with the ability to replace and upgrade parts as I please in the future while still maintaining a smoothly operating Mac OS!

I've done my research but again I'm just asking if you see anything wrong here and its never bad to ask for extra advice / build links that are simlilar / writeups on the setup os process - anything would be appreciated even If I've seen it!

I really appreciate this website as a whole and this community everyone seems to be fairly helpful and kind so thanks in advance everyone.

I've posted this else where and been told my mother board choice was pretty bad because its apparently one of the hardest motherboards that have been proven to work or hackintosh builds
so any input on what MB would be best for me being a first timer with limited knowledge on the subject that has wifi perferably wifi that works out the box for hackintosh builds. but buying the $40 card isnt a issue for me either.

I don't know why you've gotten bad feedback... Everything seems fine to me and should give you a huge improvement over your current 2007 MacBook Pro.

The only thing is that I don't believe the included wifi card on your motherboard will work with macOS. But it can be changed to a compatible one.

The following link is of someone who did a similar wifi card change:
BCM94352Z installed on ASUS Z170I Pro Gaming - WiFi and BT | tonymacx86.com

yeah i don't mind buying the $40 wifi card down the road i dont need it right off the bat do you have any suggestions of whats a good current writeup for that mb? or maybe a motherboard that is easier to install? i've been told by numerous people on ****** / hackintosh it is a real pita MB for hackintosh builds but no real thorough explaination why thanks for the response !
