That could be the reason. I'll test using applehda.

As for wifi I'm using something similar, a startech 802.11n 2T2R usb.
Don't really use EAP so couldn't advise on that aspect. What kext and wifi utility are you using? Probably the realtek one I'm assuming.
I was looking into wifi cards for this machine I saw the BCM94352 although not in the P50 fru's it is acceptable for the Thinkpad Yoga but probably won't work in the P50. There is the BCM94356 in the P50 fru list but has no support in mac os unfortunately. Probably going to have to live with it or have someone patch the BIOS.

Ps. Test HDMI yet?

Edit: How'd you get your audio working, which AppleHDA.kext are you using? Can't seem to get mine working.

Yea it'd be nice to get a native wifi working at some point.
I haven't started with the HDMI yet. I'm pretty swamped throughout the week and usually try to find time on the week to fool around with this. I have tried to boot with it plugged in and the system restarts. I've read people that do the hdmi-audio fix - fixes that and have both video/audio working after. (with applehda.kext audio, im not sure about the alc kext you were using)

I've attached the hda im using. Make sure your hda disabler kext is removed as well.

I have the same issues with WiFi and EAP as well, to the point that I haven't been working on any more hackintosh on the p50. You are correct in that you cannot change the wifi card out as there are no modules included in the whitelist that will work in X. What we need to do at this point if anyone is interested, is to reflash a card that will work in X to think it is a card that the whitelist recognizes, and then write a fakeciid to properly identify it once we get into X. I have done this once before for my x230 and it works amazingly well. I have a skylake desktop that has the necessary slots to put the card in, but I need to find a source for a card that will fit in the p50 and is supported in X. If someone can point me at it, and its not to expensive I will attempt it on the p50 and would be more then willing to help others do so as well.

Also, my idea would be to use the slot for the Sierra card and add antenna's if needed, as once I did this on my x230 it rendered it more or less useless for Windows (I had a ssd in the other slot on it at the time).

Yea that sounds great ill look into it! But just to be clear. With your flashed card, windows was then unable to recognize it and you were missing wifi for windows then? @mgilge

Anybody been able to get Nvidia working on this machine?
I currently have it disabled but I want to try to get HDMI working. It seems that video output is dedicated to the Nvidia GPU.

Edit: @11orourkec - Where did you get your AppleHDA.kext from, are you using any patches in Clover/and other enabler kexts?
- Still having an issue where Safari freezes when playing video/audio after sleep.

@mgilge The BCM94352 I think would be the best bet. Has good support in Mac OS. I saw a Lenovo branded one on eBay awhile ago, price was decent. Could probably flash it to match the BCM94356 as it is in the P50 whitelist.

nvidia quadro can be enabled .

Have you been able to getting the m2000m fully working? @zlei

I think it was from a program called HDAmaker. Something along those lines. And interesting you're still having problems. Maybe your system is having trouble sleeping. Could be the different wifi? Not sure. @trussell3417

m2000m can be enabled via webdriver. but you should choose discrete graphisc in bios display setting

The 10.12.3 update also updated NVIDIA drivers.

Internal wifi will be up and working soon, well that's what I'm hoping at least.
Just ordered a BCM94352Z(AE) wireless card and put in a request for a whitelist removal over to the good folks at bios-mods.
Now playing the waiting game for both. Fingers crossed.
