:clap:Hi @BlackHack13 I really liked making the system like you
But I have an important question: your Thunderbolt 3 work? i have Zoom audio interface, and I need this. thx :headbang: sorry i can't speak English very well :)

By thunderbolt 3 you mean USB C i suppose well i didn't try it for the moment so can't help you with that

Did you get your 1080 working? I have the exact same build as you but I cannot get the GPU to work. In About this Mac under graphics it says "Display 5 MB"

Cheers

Like said before, the Pascal GPU's are not supported at the moment including the 1080. For macOS, I am using the HD530 integrated GPU "IGPU", and for Windows Ii use the GTX 1080. You need two cables - one from the IGPU and the other from the Nvidia GPU. That it, switching between cables are not needed anymore, entering your BIOS each time to load the good GPU also .

Hey, great build.

Did you do anything special to get HDMI audio working for the Intel HD 530 on Sierra? I ran the CloverHDA fix command file, and the SDTS files are loaded; however, it doesn't work. The thing that I added was to fix the Sierra graphic fix using: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/skylake-intel-hd-530-graphics-glitch-fix.206410/.

Cheers.

Edit: It might help if you could send me your config.plist for Sierra as we have the same exact hardware.

Hey all,

This is my first time installing Hackintosh.
I've succesvolly installed OS X Sierra.
I've followed the guide (awesome guide btw!) but I can't get my wifi and speakers working :(

Can you guys help me with this, thanks!

On El Capitan you mean or sierra ?

A bit late to the party, but could you perhaps post your sierra config.plist?

I have pretty much the same setup but can't seem to get the gfx and nvme going.

Thanks!

For getting your M.2 NVMe SSD visible to install macOS, see my Gene build description (link in my signature block).

You're GTX 1070 will not work natively in macOS as neither Apple nor Nvidia have released drivers that support the Nvidia Pascal graphics cards. You'll need to use your on-board HD530 graphics for macOS or pick up a used GTX 980, which is supported by Nividia's web drivers, like I did. See the Graphics forum section for what other Pascal owners are doing to run macOS.

Thanks for the reply, Stork.
I'll have a look at your Gene build and see if I can fix this nvme stuff.
I was aware of the unsupported 1000series. I was referring to the onboard gfx. No matter what I do I can't get rid of the top left flickering/glitches.

Cheers!

Although I use a discrete graphics card, I found this thread in the Graphics forum section: Skylake Intel HD 530 Graphics Glitch Fix. Hopefully, you can find a solution to your flickering & glitches.

Got it all up and running thanks to your amazingly detailed Gene guide, Stork! Awesome work!
NVMe, on-board graphics, audio, etc. all working!

I do notice my system is getting a good 10c degrees hotter than it is on Windows(with a lot less running).

Posting my config.plist just in case + the SSDT.aml I used for my CPU..Maybe I missed something somewhere..

Cheers!

BTW; anyone know if it's possible to access a Windows (software) RAID0 in macOS? My setup is currently: Nvme=macOS, 2x 512Gb Samsung 850 EVO SSDs Apple RAID striped. And I have 2x 3TB HDDs still in Windows raid0 with some data I wouldn't completely mind wiping, but If there's a way to get to it on the mac side, i could transfer the stuff I really want before just getting rid of it.
