ah thx a lot! working now.

Yes it's the beta version

hey yanisalbert,

may i ask a little off topic question about your audio configuration? I see you also got the VIA chip set in your GA-Z77X-UD3H. How did you solve audio then? The new methods all refer to the Realtek ALC chips.

Has some1 tryed to edit the web drivers plist to patch the latest f05? I guess fxx version is more stable than a bxx, am i wrong?
1. Copy the Info.plist file located in /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/ on the Desktop.
2. Open it with an editor, change the NVDARequiredOS String to 15G1217, and save it.
3. Copy it back to the original location, replacing the old one.
4. Repair Permissions and rebuild cache of S/L/E.
5. Restart.

Has anyone tried the "Security Update 2016-003 Supplemental Update 10.11.6"? It says it fixes something in the kernel, which makes me nervous.
Well, you should be nervous. I installed the update today on my Mac Pro 2,1 and since, he's in a reboot loop. He boots up and I can work for 2-3 minutes, then bam, reboot. Plus, the Nvidia drivers don't work, but I could possibly fix this, if only the machine would stay on. Can boot alright into Lion, though. That's where I am right now.

Anybody an idea how to revert the update? I can boot into recovery but it only gives me options for OS X Lion. It's annoying!

Hi i've never tested my audio because i use a firewire audio card M-AUDIO FW410

After updating my Hackintosh El Capitan to this secure update on Jan 19, Nvidia Web Driver was disabled because updated OSX was not compatible with 346.03.15.f05. A few minutes ago, Nvidia released 346.03.15f06. After installing new driver, display is now ok.

yep working here as well!

The supplemental update seems to be a comprehensive update, encompassing all previous security updates. The requirement to install is only OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. This is consistent with prior security updates. Its download weighed in at 623 MB. I suggest treating it as any other security update, so test if possible before installing on your system.
