Corsair Vengeance LPX Ram Supported?

Hi, I had originally selected the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT but it is supposedly not compatible with my motherboard according to Gigabyte's website. Corsair Vengeance LPX is compatible with my motherboard but is it compatible with OS X? I checked the forum and couldn't any recent cases where this RAM is used. Is it there any reason it won't work with OS X?

It should work fine. In general, you should stick with RAM that's on the motherboard's compatible RAM list.

i succed to install OS X Sierra on chipset Z170 motherboard with 4 x 8gb
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz (PC4-24000) C15
you should try! no problems.

I'm having the same predicament, did it end up giving you any trouble? Or did it work? Also Which motherboard did you use?
