Ok guys, I have streamlined the process down a bit, done 3 test installs
1) Solo OSX on SSD inside PC.
2) Solo on External USB.
3) Multiboot with windows 10.

I have yet to play with the battery settings which was linked by rehab-man.
or the keyboard lights.

This is what I have working atm.
Touchpad
Keyboard
Touchscreen (not to useful since osx thinks it is a mouse.)
Intel HD4000
Ethernet
Audio Output.

Not Working:
Wifi, never will, since it is an unsupported chipset.

Not Tested:
Card Reader

For the Wifi, I use a WiPi dongle, and I'll include the setup of it, inside the guide.

I am currently writing up the guide, I have a long-weekend here this week, so hopefully I don't get swamped with Work, or family and can get a rough draft up.

Oh, the dead HDD was a crucial M4.

Whoops, I thought I fixed that...
I updated the link, and gave access to the file publicly.

Let me know how you go.

PS: I stole your signature and edited it, hope you don't mind ;)

Yeah, I am downloading el Capitan atm, to play with.
Once I have finished the guide, I was going to make a new thread.
Since this is mountain lion haha.

Hmm, It looks to be not injecting the intel gfx properly.

Boot into the clover bootloader, and check the following options.
Config->Graphics Injector menu->Inject Intel[+]
make sure that is selected.

if it is wrong, try the attached config.plist.

and I'll check the zip.

Multibeast, and Kexts
Here is a list of what I have installed.

Since I haven't got to testing El Capitan yet, I will make one in the Yosemite section first.
I think El Capitan should be good, if you add the following to the config.plist
Code:
<key>RtVariables</key>
    <dict>
        <key>BooterConfig</key>
        <string>0x28</string>
        <key>CsrActiveConfig</key>
        <string>0x3</string>
    </dict>

So, if it isn't in Yosemite, or El Capitan then, I haven't got to testing yet.

I am glad it worked, I was wondering if it was just my laptop it would work for, and no one else would have any luck.

That it worked for you, makes it all worth it. Since it should help others too :)

Vairn,
This has been a great laptop for OSX. I want to fix a few imperfections to make this a 100% install and wanted to touch base with you on your ATIV Book 8. I have everything working, including trackpad. However I have a buggy ELAN kext from here:
http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index....and-synaptics-smart-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/

that works for the trackpad and can recognize two fingered scroll. (Voodoo PS2 Just recognizes trackpad as a mouse but this ELAN kext actually recognizes it as a multi touch trackpad) but it stops working occasionally, so much so that I had to uninstall it and go back to VoodooPS2. Any Ideas? The latest versions/update of this kext seemingly don't work (?) at all so I'm starting to question where I actually got it...? I know your using a usb mouse but it would be sweet to use the trackpad with at least two finger scroll.

Also I for the life of me haven't been able to get the keyboard backlight to come on. If I boot windows it works no problem however OS X is not having it? Any Kexts or DSDT you could throw my way?
