Is your config (that you've attached) edited for handoff and hotspot?

No, as I don't use those functions on my desktop workstations. I also don't use sleep and wake from sleep which are also not tested.

The focus of this series of posts was to address what it takes to get BCM94352Z working again after updating a Sierra 10.12 system to 10.12.1.

Good modding,
neil

examine the config.plist that I attached in post # 3
4352: no PCI Error 1, 2 and 3 ; hack of a hack.
10.12.1 IO80211Family.kext updated
Clover/config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/Fix_Airport_4000 broke
Fix 4360 device_id injection

So, what should a guy do if he tries going to the guide that's listed in the link from Toleda and basically has no idea what he's looking at?

I have 10.12.1 but I can't get anything to work with that wifi card. This is my first hack so sorry if it shows. I only tried mounting the EFI partition in clover and copied the kexts files into the right folders. I'm not really sure how to edit the .plist otherwise or how to fix the wifi..

BCM94352 WiFi requirements on 10.12.x:
- the-darkvoid's fcvo patch
- FakePCIID.kext + FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext
- maybe: the-darkvoid's 5ghz patch

Thanks so so much, got wifi working. It's probably just 2.4 but its a start. Do you know how I can check? Do you also know how to get bluetooth working? Or if there is an easier way to add patches to the .plist other than text edit?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn as much as possible about all this. Thanks!

You can test 5ghz by seeing if you see 5ghz networks in the list. Also you can check for the 5ghz channels in System Information.
Bluetooth requires correctly configured USB and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext + BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext. Handoff requires a patch.
You should use a plist editor to edit plist files (Xcode, PlistEdit Pro).

Ok, it looks like wifi is working well with 5ghz. I have the bluetooth kexts in the other folder, but how can I configure my USB. I thought it was configured, but apparently not? Do you have insight or maybe a link to configure USB and handoff?
