Installed audio to wrong EFI partition.
Mount the EFI partition that Clover boots and run cloverALC again.

How do I verify which Drive the correct EFI is on? When clover configurator asks which Drive to use I thought the first part (01/02) is what I'm supposed to pay attention to

hi @toleda , in the guide thread, section "Unsupported/Non-working Realtek ALC AppleHDA":
  • AC97 (Front Panel)
    1. Workaround: HD Audio
Does that means no way to make AC97 front panel to work? Will have to use to a "HD Audio" front panel?
Thank you in advance!

I'd never had a problem with Multibeast installing before, so I decided to do a clean install after cloning my Sierra drive. Created a new Unibeast installer with Multibeast 9.0.1 and erased my Sierra SSD. Standard Tonymac install procedure. Multibeast installed, and now I have Audio! Migrated apps and docs from Sierra clone. Let's hope it remains stable. Thanks...
@rheneas If you don't mind me asking, what options did you select in your Multibeast setup? I'm having some troubles with both my audio and monitor waking from sleep. I have the Gigabyte GA Z170 HD3 and Gigabyte GTX 950 Extreme. Any tips, advice or links would be greatly appreciated. I've been at it all day and my brain is melting lol
