Success: GA-Z170X-UD5, i7-6700K, EVGA GTX970, Skylake iMac 17.1

Awesome benchmark numbers. I have only a few games on my mac; Legacy of the Void (from Blizzard/Battle.net) and Age of Wonders III (from Steam) are the two I played the most. Lots of quality games from Steam, get them when they are on sales.

Did you follow all the steps in the guide?

I have the dock set to autohide and when I hover the mouse over it, the dock freezes and I can't select an app. The way around it is by slowly moving the mouse to the dock and selecting the app I want to start. As for the HD530, I can't comment on it because I am using the gtx 970.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I finally got time off to look into what games are out there. Is there any benefit of buying games through steams a physical disk? -and visa versa?

I am not sure if the power management will work on a overclocked cpu. I haven't overclocked my cpu and I don't think I ever will. The performance is good enough for me as it. What cpu cooler and PSU are you going with? The h60 might not be enough for a overclocked cpu?

No I did not:( Do you have any suggestions? I will eventually move everything over to a new user account when I have some downtime in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I have disabled autohide and everything is working fine.

I would go Steam - it saves everything in the cloud and you can play in MacOS and in Windows if you want or on other machines if you have some.

I went with GA-Z170X-UD5-TH (no UD5 version where I live), some corsair ballistic RAM and i6700k - I took cooler master hyper evo 212 with it.
By the way you mention "10. Copy SSDT for Power Mangagement file “SSDT-i7-6700K.aml” to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/" - where should I copy it from? :)

Did you try to reset the dock defaults?
