Hello,
I currently have a windows 8 machine that I use for work.
I found a few guides about dual booting but they start with blank systems.
I want to use my windows as it is and install osx on the same HDD but by creating a second partition !

PC Specs

HP EliteOne 800 G1 - Core i5 4670S 3.1 GHz - 8 GB - 500 GB - LED 23
Chipset Type Intel Q87 Express
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and a Touch screen

My Questions.
1. I didn't see my parts on the list here on this website. Does that mean I'm out of luck?
2. Whats the best way (point me to a link) to install osx Sierra with my current windows build on the same HDD?

I think that's about it.
Thanks!

It really all depends on how Windows is installed - see https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/mavericks-windows-8-on-same-drive-without-erasing.133940/
Your best bet is a separate SSD/HDD for OS X and leave the Windows drive alone.

Which way you need to install the boot loader after OS X installation depends also on your Windows installation - is it installed Legacy Mode or is it installed UEFI? With your hardware it could be either.

Thank you for the prompt respond, I have booted the PC with the USB and choose External to boot from it; however it just froze there after the apple logo !

Any advice ?

Boot with -v boot-arg and see where the boot process stopped. Possible you need to make sone UEFI setting changes.
