Andrew (Youtube Link above) suggested nv_disable on args, I got an AE_NOT_FOUD error, I'm researching now about.

I will try and let you know, thank you indeed!

Worked Here, I think it should work for other issues too:

issues: kernel Panic, freezing, AE_NOT_FOUND,
dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1">IOResources</String><key>IOResourceMatch</key><String ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict>" and everyone who wants to quit try this before!!!

Intel Xeon E5-2640 2.0GHz
Asus Sabertooth x79 Bios 4801 Nvidia GTX 770

1. take off your HD from the machine
2. attach it on other Mac via USB SATA adaptor or SATA cable
3. Format the HD and give the name you want (journaled, guid partition)
4. After erase and format the HD, Make a new partition of 10GB or 8GB (I used 10GB) no need to format as Untitled
5. Use Unibeast following the TonyMac guide, in my case it automatically detected the 10GB partition as the right place to install (5-7 minutes using a SSD HD) fast!
6. Copy Multibeast to the partition with the install files (sierra and EFI)
7. Follow Tonymac guide for Bios, except USB modifications, live the USB in default parameters
8. On boot options set Sata HD with the install files as option 1
9. Boot, if everything is alright Unibeast clover will start
10. In options, delete all args and use this: npci=0x3000 USBBusfix=Yes -v
11. Pray a lot.... if it worked the install will initiate!
12. If your mouse and keyboard fails, try all USB connections,.. pray again....
13. after installation restarts, in options use the same args npci=0x3000 USBBusfix=Yes -v, deleting the others, initiate using the partition with the OSX already installed to finish installation
14. Use Multibeast as recommend on Tonymac guide
15. Use EFI Mounter and PlistEdit Pro to edit the Args, deleting all and adding npci=0x3000 USBBusfix=Yes

That's it! My graphic Card is recognised, ethernet ok, SSD HD using the 6GB port, I've already installed CUDA drivers, because this machine was made to use with CG. For Audio HDMI (output) I used the audio_cloverHDMI-120v1.0d.command and is necessary mount the EFI with EFI Mounter before apply the command ok.

Thank you indeed Tonymac and friends!

I am confused when I read your post.
Can you clarify for me the following:

1.What is the difference between what you are accomplishing from step 1 through 6 with an internal SATA HDD taken out of the case disconnecting its SATA & Power cables and connecting it to a Hackintosh Computer's ( "other Mac's) USB port through a SATA USB Interface (adapter) with possibly external power cable (you have not mentioned that) and using the disk utility of that hackintosh and Partitioning in GUID Partition Map scheme and formatting in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and on 8-10GB partition so created, running Unibeast and installing Sierra from that Hackintosh's Applications folder and then copying Multibeast

vs

Tonymac Sierra Guide using an 8-16 GB USB Flash drive in USB 2.0 port and following the guide to create the Sierra Installation disk?

2. In step 7, where is this 8-10 GB partitioned SATA HDD connected and how is it connected?

  • Are we to assume that you have removed it from the USB port of the "other Mac" and then placed it inside the "problem computer" from which it was removed to make it an "Installer partition" of a SATA HDD?

  • When and how will this SATA installer partition finally become a fully functional System disk where you can install other software , create files etc? . It has only 8-10GB size now.
  • Did you use this device to install Sierra from this device to another SATA HDD inside the Computer?
I am very much interested to know more about it.

Hi CMN,

first of all, I would like to let you know that English is not my first language, I will do my best to clarify your doubts.

This method requires just a HD, instead of an USB pendrive. I tried several times use the USB method without success, with a lot of different problems after USB creation and install.

So, the ideia is with one HD, make a little partition on it, and install in this partition the installation files. The rest of the same HD will be used to install Mac OSX. With this method I escaped from all the problems I faced.

I connected my HD to my MacMini using a SATA adapter from an external drive (photo) but if you have an external Sata enclousure, or other Hackintosh you can do it too, the ideia is connect the HD to a Mac to do 2 things, first format and create partitions, and second, using Unibeast install the files in the 10GB partition.

As soon as you do this you will be able to reconnect the HD on the machine that you are trying to install, and in the Bios set this HD as your primary Boot device, more specifically, set the partition of 10GB of the HD as your boot device, the BIOS must be set to UEFI mode, I'm not shure but I think it is the default. You will see in the Bios this partition.

That's the ideia, using just one HD, make a 10GB partition on it, install the files with Unibeast on this little partition and use the rest of the HD for running Mac. Any doubt I will be here ok, Best, Edu.

Thank you Edu for your prompt response.

Your written English is quite good and I could easily follow what you write. The omission of a few steps in your earlier step-by-step "How-To" you posted left me to 'fill up the blanks' in different ways.

I'm quite familiar with SATA /IDE-HDD/Optical [ 3.5"/2.5"] to USB adapters but I use them for different indications.

I realize there may be very limited and specific circumstances where we may be able to use this as you have stated with your inability to use the "standard Unibeast method" of creating a USB installer and use that to install the System on an Internal SATA HDD or SSD. I will try out your method to understand it better.

Thank you for your time.

I think it works fine cause the gtx 770 has a driver inside Sierra, but with some tests and tweaks it could be useful for somebody else, I have USB 3.0 working too, with your knowledge I think you can go further and simplify the process, best, Edu
