Followed the installation guide, with recommended bios settings, but the system just keeps freezing during installation (apple logo, status bar @ 100%) when I boot from the installation USB stick (usb2 port). I chose UEFI when creating the installation media in unibeast. I had similar issues when trying to install Yosemite. I am using the GPU card that is integrated with the mobo.

Any suggestions on boot flags, kext files etc.? Also, do you recommend changing boot flags in clover during boot or changing config files? Sorry if these are noob questions, this is my very first hackintosh build. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

A couple of suggestions:
If your USB installer has LED indicator light for knowing it is being read /copied, watch and see if the screen is frozen [ I always try to use USB Flash drives with LED that really glows] by lack of any USB FD activity.

Add -v to your current boot flags for Verbose or text-based display and not the Apple logo of GUI booting. If the boot screen gets frozen, take a screen capture image and upload that here with your chosen Boot flags for some useful suggestions.

Thank you so much for your help so far! I followed Twas's instructions with the exception of using Clover r3825, since the version mentioned by him wasn't available. I used the default Clover config-plist. This resulted in the very same issue with the frozen status indicator. With the Verbose boot flag I ended up with this (no other boot flags used):

It looks like there are issues with the graphics driver, right? Should I try with different kexts or boot flags? Or maybe with another config-plist?

I used the default Clover config-plist as instructed. Do I need to change anything in the bios? I am using the recommended setting from the Sierra desktop guide for Unibeast. Couldn't find any cfg-lock setting, and USB 3 is enabled.

Btw, I forgot to mention that I have switched out the original Half Mini PCIe Card of the mobo to a Broadcom BCM43224 BCM943224HMS A/B/G/N 300M Dual Band WLAN, because the original card doesn't seem to be supported. I had the same issue before the switch, although I had the wifi card that was included in the mobo removed at this point. Should I disable it, as for now?

From your uploaded image, it looks like you have some problem loading your Intel HD integrated Graphics card.

Try booting on Safe Mode and not to add the driver cache

Use the following Boot flags at Clover Boot Manager screen on Options > Boot Args: -v -x -f and try booting your Sierra Installer USB drive and post with screen capture image if stuck.

This resulted in the very same issue with the frozen status indicator. With the Verbose boot flag I ended up with this (no other boot flags used):

Disable the Serial port in your BIOS settings.

I have tried a couple of different clover version

r3835 - seems that hang at loading AppleACPICPU kext (timeout)
r3811 - seems that hang at loading AppleACPICPU kext (timeout)
r3799 - no problem
r3793 - no problem
r3786 - no problem

I don't use any special settings, all the settings are clover default, it just works flawlessly

about the Serial Port setting in the BIOS, my setting is enable, seems that it is not the cause of the problem

the old version is no longer available on the clover sourceforge page
https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/files/Installer/

anyone want to try the r3793, it can be downloaded from here

Followed itwas' instructions and still having issues. Tried Clover 3793 as well as the latest Clover. Tried the default config.plist as well as config.plist-UEFI.zip, from the how-to-create-a-macos-sierra-public-beta-installation linked above. Using Clover in UEFI mode, with different fixes activated. Tried Verbose mode and the default bootflags (-v kext-dev-mode=1 rootless=0), as well as dart=0 v=1. Intel inject is enabled. Using any of the above settings I always end up with issues with my integrated graphics card:
Kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB start failed (0xdc00400a)
Kext com.apple.driver.AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB failed to load (error 0xdc008017)

Using -v -x -f boot flags I end up with:
Error allocating 0x49c0 pages at 0x0000000000c79000 alloc type 2
Error loading kernel cache (0x9)
Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds

Print screen only seems to work in the Clover Boot menu, so here are photos again:

Btw, I am using the latest Bios version (F3), but considering trying a downgrade.
