Hi has anybody upgraded from a 680 ti to a Gigabyte GTX 980Ti G1 on a system setup like mine?
I need more GPU and would like to make the move but wanted to know previous attempts in doing so...
Thanks for the help.

Your GTX 680 is supported by macOS natively. A GTX 980 Ti will require the use of Nvidia web drivers. Other than that, I don't see any reason why you can't upgrade.

The GTX 980 Ti requires you to be running at least Yosemite with the additional nvidia drivers. You can get more information on the process from the graphics section.

Your mobo is listed in your profile as ML10.8.4, it should read GA-Z77X-UD5H
