It works if you copy the prefpane from 10.11.
But probably the settings are not kept across reboots.
You can use a LaunchDaemon and ioio to set the settings you want at each boot.

Most people should stick with 10.11 until some of the issues with 10.12 are resolved (it will probably be a while).

Yes, it looks like I lost my settings on a reboot.
And now, the two fingers tap settings are gone

I don't know which two finger tap settings you're referring to. There was never any such option in SysPrefs->Trackpad.

This is what it looks like on the previous OS:

You can set it with ioio.

Note: If you didn't want a "Sierra adventure", you should not have installed it.

How to do it? Is there any link for the tutorial?
Thanks

Note: I know the consequences, I just need help. I have an ioio Zip downloaded already, it means I used to use it once. I just forgot how :D

There is help within ioio if you run it with no params.
You can see the properties you can set in the kext Info.plist (there are a lot of them).

Hi, I want to set "two fingers tap for secondary click" to true with ioio. I already checked it on info.plist inside the voodoops2trackpad.kext. but cannot find the right property.
Any help?
Thanks

Update: nevermind, I found it on my previous OS ioreg. Its "TrackpadRightClick" need to be set to 1. Now I wonder how to put it to a launchdaemon

Update2: nevermind, its on my launchdaemon now :D

Is it possible to enable waking from sleep by hitting a key on the keyboard or clicking the mouse? This is on a desktop system with a plain PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 optical mouse.

It is system dependent. It has nothing to do with this kext. Test your system in Windows to find the answer.

It works in Windows, but not in macOS. Both mouse and keyboard.
