Keep in mind the port limit patch is only for short term (port discovery). There are problems known to be caused by the patch.

What series is a GA-Z170X-UD5 TH ?

Many thanks, I will give it a go now.

Made the changes in Clover Configurator. Put the kext in, and here is the return. Thinking as only 10 showing up that i've done something wrong?

hey im kinda new to all this i have a asus z97-c an added a asus usb 3.1 type a card used the RehabMan-Generic-USB3-2015-1215 but when i look in my system info under usb i have this
(USB 3.0 Bus: Host Controller Driver: AppleUSBXHCILPTHB PCI Device ID: 0x8cb1 PCI Revision ID: 0x0000 PCI Vendor ID: 0x8086) but nothing it showing that i have connected printer or even a usb is this normal?
i hope im posting in the proper thread lol
 
Patch installed with my Asus X99 Deluxe U3.1 and working perfectly...thanks RehabMan for your help and work!
 
How do I actually patch this? Open the config.plist in text editor and copy in the text in post 1? Is that it? I have a 100 series motherboard.
