(You mean Sierra?) I've not updated to the public release version of Sierra due to other more pressing situation. That said, there are problems with Clover that have to be worked out, and those problems are affecting the release of UniBeast 7 and MultiBeast 9. So, hang in there. As a famous coach said on more than one occassion, "don't rush to fail." Give "things" a chance to settle down. BTW, unless your like being an early adopter, I'd wait for 10.12.1 or .2. I don't upgrade my production systems until the .3 update.

Thanks Stork, will do on the update... I'll try to hold off until .3 as well. My Hero build is incredible... render times are faster than anything I have ever seen for my video editing... posted a youtube video of the computer build... thanked you in the end... it's a bit long but thought you should see it...

enjoy

Hi Stork,
I was wondering if there will be an updated Mutibeast for Sierra to take care of some of the audio and usb problems?

I haven't tried the new installer yet because I have Sierra running on a spare SSD and it works well except for my front case USB3 ports which is no big deal but I don't want to reinstall until Multibeast works for me also.

RehabMan has tried to help me but I had no luck.

@Stork, I have a situation where my Clover install on EFI appears to be corrupt since the updater won't work. I need to update Clover to the most recent version in preparation for Sierra, but can't do it. What's the best way to update Clover? I was going to back up EFI contents and then `
sudo newfs_msdos -F 32 -v EFI /dev/disk0s1` and reinstall EFI from the default installer pkg, but then I thought perhaps there may be a better way. Any ideas? If I'm on the right track, what options from the Clover installer pkg do I need to pick specifically for it to work?

(FYI, this is my post re: my problem with Clover.)

Try running MultiBeast again with your full Build as it might fix your problems. But, first, can you boot normally?

I can indeed boot normally… Just trying to get clover updated...

When MultiBeast 9 for Sierra is published, use UniBeast 8 for Sierra and then MultiBeast. It will be a lot easier.

The delays in publishing "The Beasts" have been due to Clover glitches.

I really happy with how mine is working right now. Like I said I'm only missing the 2 front USB3 ports on my case. Never did a clover install before so it may have been something I did. Continuity, handoff and messages all working.

I'll watch out for MB9/UB8 and then wait for the install guid and any glitches before doing a fresh install. maybe even wait for next point release.
Thanks

I typically install over a previous version of the OS. However, a fresh install on a different drive and then using Migration Assistant is a good choice, too, as I've used that method on several of my systems.

So @Stork you're saying to go ahead and run "MultiBeast - El Capitan 8.2.3" right now to see what happens, and if it works I'll be set to install Sierra? Or will I still need to wait until MultiBeast 9? Sorry your remarks are not entirely clear yet to me...

If you are running, El Capitan now (I couldn't tell from your OP), go ahead and run MultiBeast for El Capitan and change the SysDef to iMac14,2. After the change, see if/get everything working. Then, install Sierra, but I'd wait for MultiBeast 9 for Sierra to be released (any moment now).

BTW, if you create the UniBeast 9 (for Sierra) USB installation thumb drive, UniBeast will automatically use the SysDef iMac14,2 so you can install Sierra.

(Fingers crossed that we're not talking past each other.)
