MacOS Sierra up n running too with this build :)
Build your USB install drive as per instructions from here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/how-to-create-a-macos-sierra-public-beta-installation-usb.195077/

Make sure you use the latest Clover boot loader. Copy your ACPI and your Kexts over to the USB along with your config.plist and any drivers you are using etc from your existing HDD. Make sure Asus AppleIntelCPUPM is selected in the config.plist

Complete stage 1 install and reboot. Boot from USB after restarting and select the Install Sierra Public Beta from the list, not from the USB stick, and complete Stage 2 install (approx 12 mins)

Reboot from USB stick and launch your new MacOS Sierra, install latest Clover boot loader to the new HDD/SSD and copy your Kexts to Other, copy your config.plist over. Your ACPI folder should have already copied over, if not then copy that over too. Again make sure the config.plist on your HDD/SSD has Asus AppleIntelCPUPM

Reboot and enjoy your new MacOS Sierra Public Beta :) .... You can also install the latest updates safely too !!

Martin

My set doesn't run smoothly...Don't know why.

Could you take a look?
Thanks!

You have no patched DSDT.aml file
Your config.plist is not right either ...
  • Needs to Generate Pstates and Cstates and needs enable C6
  • If you're fresh installing no need for nvda_drv=1 but add -xcpm_ipi and add -v if you want to see what's happening
  • Set default loader to bootx64.efi
  • Remove the CPU settings, they are not needed anymore
  • KernelKextPatches = Kernel CPU, KernelPM and Asus AICPUPM should be ticked
  • Under Devices set audio to Detect and Reset HDA ticked, tick all USB Settings
  • System Parameters set as Inject Kexts to Detect and tick No Caches
  • Install Drivers = DataHubDxe, OsxAptioFix2Drv, PartitionDxe ... Extra Drivers = HFSPlus UEFI
From your Kexts remove NullCPUPowerManagement and add VoodooHDA to get HDMI audio, I haver heard that Sierra busts this though so no guarantees that it will work.

That should get you running

All done, but still not get running.
Probably some problems with clover, because before i updade my clover i can run 10.11.6 without problem.
Now i can neither boot into 10.11 nor macos install.
According to http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/sierra-install-hang-appleacpicpu.202781/#post-1331377 i change my clover version, still the same problem.
Could you tell me which patch should i make?I follow giacomoleopardo's guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/giacomoleopardos-x79-mostro.200083/ so i don't have a dsdt file for this build. Now i generate it but cannot find a guide to fix.
i also notice that a cmci error but don't know why.

Here's my EFI, the config.plist has been removed so you will need to add your own, also my DSDT and VoodooTCSync has been modified to take 32 threads so you may well need to edit them. VoodooTCS first then reboot and test etc. I know this works as I rebuilt my system after power failure a few days ago.

I don't think you will get it to work with Sandy Bridge CPU and SMBios as a Mac Pro 6,1. I tried many ways without success. If you go to www.everymac.com and check the iMac's that were released in 2011 and they all have sandy bridge processors, so read the description for each one to find the one that best matches your CPU's speed and other hardware you may have. Then create that SMBios in Clover Configurator.

Thanks for your immediately reply and advice.
Today is a little late, tomorrow i will do it and reply my result.

Add: not work.It seems like it is not the SMBios Problem for my issue.I think the problem is about Clover.
A little tired.Probably i should keep using 10.11 until my next rebuild.
Anyway, many thanks:)

config.plist/Graphics/InjectEDID=false.

config.plist/Graphics/InjectEDID=false.
I had already set InjectEDID=false in my config.plist.
It turned out to be GPU problem, i should put my card in pcie slot 3 to install the os and after i install Webdriver i must to unplug it and plug in pcie slot 5.
Anyway, thanks for your reply!
