After looking into what might be expected to maintain a framebuffer, I decided to go the lazy route:
Code:
            <dict>
                <key>Comment</key>
                <string>Change ‘AMD R9 xxx’ to ‘AMD RX 460’</string>
                <key>Find</key>
                <data>
                QU1EIFI5IHh4eA==
                </data>
                <key>Name</key>
                <string>AMD9500Controller</string>
                <key>Replace</key>
                <data>
                QU1EIFJYIDQ2MA==
                </data>
            </dict>

Thanks for your help!!!

Did it work?
I found some intel graphics codes in 12.1.2.1 the second 12.1 beta beyond the public release.
Tonight I will try to spoof my HD 530 into IRIS or one of these older codes.

It might be a way in.

We've tried it with iMac 17.1, 14.2, MacPro 5.1, 6.1 maybe a older definition could get it to work, maybe not.

I'll check around for a used 5450 or similar. Just to note I'm using the MacPro 6.1 definition atm.

I bought mine 2gb for $39.95 @ microcenxxx new, they also had the 1gb for $35 new.

Can you boot to the desktop without igpu on the beta 2? I didn't install this version of beta yet, it didn't show up on my appstore.On another note El Capitan still stable and reliable here.

The drivers are much more stable for the RX 480 card I tested, it was able to run benchmarks on extreme settings but would crash at lower settings. Now it runs throughout all settings on Uningine. They added 4100kext just for Baffin/RX cards.
Does it score higher than the 470 ?? The reason I'm asking is the 480 is on sale and only $20 more than a 470but I primarily use OS X so I want the faster, more stable of the two. With the new update would you say the 480 is more stable and faster than the 470 or are there still problems ??

p.s. Sleep including hibernate mode is fully supported and I have both audio and wifi after waking it back up. I have not installed the 10.12.1.2,1 update yet ....

I have an Dual-Monitor Setup. One Cable is plugged in to my GFX HDMI Port and one Cable is plugged into the Displayport of the GFX. Works OOB and without any problems @Gigamaxx

Hi IDelLTaZI, I am having problems getting the dual monitor setup to work with a fresh install of Sierra. Wonder if you could share your config.plist file and any other settings that you may have used please?

Yeah sure just be sure you set iGPU as primary in BIOS. Here is my config.plist and my Info.plist from the AMDX4100.kext.

That is Gigabyte RX 460 right?

Yes. I updated the os to the newer 12.1 beta 2 (public) without anything going wrong.

The blind booting is problematic though:

1) If os installs require us to select the 'install os' pseudo disk in the Clover boot screen we will not be able to do that without booting back into the IGPU screen.

2) I have heard that partially disabling the IGPU solves the issue of Safari - Sierra crashing (locking up the machine) when you visit sites that have videos in them. That will make getting to the BIOS screen trickier.
