An iDiot's Guide To iMessage

WOW!! Thanks so much for this detailed step-by-step guide. Now I truly have a fully working Hackintosh! Thanks to all of you guys here at tonymac! Rehabman has been enormous help for my M.2 drive and bluetooth, Toledo for audio, and P1LGRIM for iMessages! I'm sure there are more amazing people who put in their time and effort and I'm sorry for not being able to give a good "shoutout" to them, but VERY MUCH APPRECIATION!

You're welcome - Thanks for the feedback

Hello,

my iMessage and FaceTime wants to call AppleSupport and give them a code to verify my activation.
In my account is no credit card shown because i dont have one.
The SN is valid, is it save to call them?

If you are getting the code then you probably did something wrong - Start again.

got into this situation where
simpleMLB.sh doesn't work for me... it is if something is going on in the background but nothing really happens and i cant get the code. any suggestion ?

[Solved] It sure took some minutes but i finally Got the code. now lets continue...

Thank you! Fantastic guide! I used it sometime ago and it works perfectly, but in my opinion, for beginners like me, I think an extra recommendation at the end of the guide would be appreciated: clean caches! My system went nuts during some days just because there were some cache files left from the previous "hardware" (S/N and UUID), and I found all kind of weirdness: random panics, sudden logouts from iCloud preferences, logout from other apps like Spotify, apps missing preferences or crashing, etc. Also, all the clover SMBIOS variables should be verified again after updating Clover to a newer version, as they can get corrupted from a previous release (I had this issue too).

Thank you again! :)

This is brilliant, thanks. Worked a charm on the machine in my signature running MacOS Sierra!
Good news - Thanks for the feedback

Not sure what went wrong for you there but hopefully you're ok now.

This is just awesome, P1lgrim! Thank you so much for putting up this guide - I've been trying for 2 years now to restore iMessage on my hack when it broke due to upgrading to Yosemite in ancient times.

That's a very, very happy end of a long story - yippi-eye-yeah!

Just finished going through this guide after getting the upgrade to Sierra sorted. Somewhere along the line I messed up the messages which were working fine. This guide helped me put it all straight again. Cheers for the guide P1lgrim! brilliant stuff.
