Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems

I see that you are using intel HD 4600 which is what I have integrated.. How is the GPU performance?

Works fine. Im using 3 monitors with Intel HD 4600 and works fine in 10.12.

Excellent. Will try that. Not really a gamer so it should not be a problem

BEST thread ever :) BigHands for you.

sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/Info.plist

All was ok but something changed the NVDARequiredOS .. the fault was one missing "1" :(

Only way to roll back is with time machine.

Dang. So any point continuing with the 560ti and Sierra, or is it done for? I just clean installed El Capitan.. No other solution allowed me to get it working.

No problem. Glad it help you.

Actually, thought I'd mention something here, in case it may help anyone.

Not sure if it's Sierra, the new NVIDIA driver, the new Clover or this 13,1 definition for my sandy z68 system

I have to admit, that performance wise, it feels way better than it was before. No pain no gain I guess.

Wondering if it should have been 13 ages ago.

so yeah, everything works better. :)

You will be better with correct SMBIOS only because of Powermanagement. Verify that PM is working in a ioreg.

I have a similar system on my other rig but with a 12,2 definition running a sandy bridge and a 560ti. I tried 14,2 but not 13,1... I wonder if it would make a difference?

Apparently none of the existing sysdefs outputs 4K@60Hz with current drivers, have to wait for OS and nVidia updates

PS. By applying custom patch to CoreDisplay framework I was able to make macmini6,2 bootable with no black screen, but still suffering 30Hz limit
I'm also in the same boat! I've always been under the impression that Macmini6,2 is not listed under the AGPolicy next and that's what made the 4K MST work. I guess more exploring to do then!

Do let me know if you get it working!
