Same issues for me. 10.10.3 GA-Z87-UD3H / i7 4770 CPU / 16gb Corsair vengeance ram and EVGA GTX 970 4gb Stupidly tho i installed the yosemite recovery update from the app store and i had to reinstall Nvidea driver after to get it working again.

Tried and tried again a few times and randomly worked once. Was able to install and set up perfectly. Right now im just updating to 10.01 and finishing putting back my old software. Thanks for your help though.

Couldn't get a pic when it stopped because it went to a blank black screen after but this is what i could get.

I got the download from the link/ Used the HD 3000 1366x768 config.plist Well i downloaded again (maybe a bad download) But still didn't work. I restored defaults in bios and did as the guide said for bios settings. See attached for new troubleshoot.

Pretty sure i made the USB correctly. I boot into the usb and choose install yosemite (easy enough) , it takes a bit for the apple sign to load but right after i get a blank grey screen and it doesn't go past that. Have 4530s A7K06UT and attached is a link to my trouble shoot

Have the same problem. Only workaround for now is to put computer to sleep and wake it back up for headphone jack to work. But for me it kinda works cause maybe 10-15 min later all sound just cuts off and i have to put to sleep/wake again.

Wow man this whole time i was kinda stressing about the headphones issue. But your tip did work. Thanks man. You're da real MVP(with RehabMan too) Is there another way to fix so that it works when booted and i don't have to put it to sleep?

I dont know how to rollback kexts and im afraid to try. But for now i guess i can just run on the back up from 10.9.3 and it's weird then that only till now do i have that issue. Few post below mr-andrek is also having the issue i am. Wonder if he fixed his yet.
