Yes, I had to update the BIOS on the GPU to a beta one, that fixed it! :)

I could not find anyway to do that on Mac, yet the windows drive on a USB worked great! Happy to report I have had no issues since the BIOS update. Have an awesome weekend!!!

Managed to do it installing a windows boot drive in a USB hard drive. I did the same, but I have the GTX 1050 OC LOW PROFILE card: same process, slightly different beta bios :) Now it works awesome, thank you for the hint.

Solved! BTW there is no way that I'm aware to update the GPU BIOS while on Mac. I took a simple approach, created a bootable USB Windows Drive with WINTOUSB, booted this drive, installed drivers for my card and installed the update. My issues seem to be GONE! It seems if you are running a Low...

How do you update the GPU's Bios in Mac? All tools from nvidia have to be run on Windows OS.

Are you sure you are not injecting Nvidia drivers? Try what I did (mentioned in post 194), might help you

I wouldnt, I guess it would take you back to a blacklisted or at least less stable driver.
