Hi hope someone can help me. This card worked before without any issue. now it has stopped working and there seems to be no way to get it to work again. Because there are no kexts or configuration I'm lost to what I need to do. Symptoms are: Wifi is not working, not visible in the menubar or...

<< Solved >> OpenCore battery patch

Do you think that the reason with things sometimes working and sometimes not working might have to do with EC information being reset or reread from cache? or even NVRAM storing some information? I think that might be the case and we should try an investigate more to confirm, I just posted on...

Fans keep running in sleep mode

Guys, I would like to report that after doing 2 things I managed to get the power management working flawlessly! (for now). I disabled in bios the power to USB ports while on standby, and I removed my patched DSDT from the ACPI folder. Now. I could not have removed the patched DSDT because I...

@BlvckBytes I have no words to thank you, it works flawlessly. Charge/discharge, Time to full charge, And BTW I'm not sure I have the same issue that @kecinzer mentions with SMCBattery manager, IOReg does look like yours but I can see the cycle count in System Profile: Battery Information...

Hey @BlvckBytes would definitely appreciate help with getting a SSDT for my battery. Used the attached to patch my DSDT but I have no idea on how to create an SSDT from it.

Minimum brightness is way too high on Catalina

I have the opposite problem. My lowest brightness setting "turns off" the screen goes completely black and the maximum does not seem to be at full screen capability, acceptable with many "stops" in between but just feels a bit dim.

    ALS not working

Thanks mate, I did look into your thread there and read it entirely, I was about to post there for help generating my battery SSDT, but that thread kind of turned into a Razor discussion page I didn't want to highjack. DSDT patching and creating SSDT's is still something that I can't quite...

    ALS not working

Humm ok I didn't know that. I patched the DSDT for battery management. How am I suppose to do it without patching DSDT? I just recently migrated to Opencore. Here are the original unpatched, Clover extracted files.
