    Success: Lenovo T440P

Yes. Doesn't seem any different. Very occasionally (1/5 times, say) the stick won't power on when waking from sleep. Pulling it out and putting it back in fixes it. This also happened in High Sierra, and since it's such a minor thing I haven't bothered to troubleshoot it. Also, for the record...

    Success: Lenovo T440P

I think this is the right place to post this... Just upgraded to Mojave with only a few minor hiccups, seemingly now resolved, on a Lenovo T440P. Here's what I've done so far. Followed Sniki's guide, here, to get High Sierra up and running. Followed tonymacx86's guide, here, to get the Mojave...

An IT Logic Puzzle: Best Use of Drives?

I'm finishing up a planned build, I've got a sort of Hanoi Towers situation going on with the hard drives, and I'm hoping someone can help me logic through this. Specifically, I have one laptop with two bays, one desktop with three bays, and the following pieces of hardware: 2x 500GB HDD, 3.5"...

    [Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440P

Testing it out now. There are two issues in particular; neither seems to get in the way of functionality. The first is the startup screen flickers to black a few times during boot and ends (briefly) with this curious effect: 1 by yingpar posted Sep 13, 2018 at 11:51 PM The second is harder to...

    [Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440P

Got it, thanks! Fwiw, the battery life seemed pretty similar to Windows, give or take twenty minutes, so I'm assuming the Nvidia stuff is already disabled by Sniki's patch (and the flickering is probably just in my head!).

    [Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440P

Here it is. Also, I just noticed the TrackPoint isn't working (though I don't really use it ever). I'll update my profile, too; I think I misread all that.

    [Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440P

Not necessarily a problem--just curious about what's going on internally and not sure where to start digging. It seems to be using the CPU graphics exclusively. If so, is it possible to get it to use the discrete graphics as well? Everything else is working great! The SystemLogo is a nice touch.

    [Guide] Lenovo ThinkPad T440P

I just got a used T440p, and, as an experiment, decided to try this guide with a spare hard drive. So far so good! The installation went off without a hitch and it boots into High Sierra just fine. There are a few lingering issues, though. Specifically: - The Trackpad works, including gestures...

Has Anyone Got a R7 260X Bonaire Working?

Hmm, no dice. So far I've tried injecting the ID (0x665C1002) in Devices, as EDID in Graphics, both, with FixDisplay on and off, with InjectATI on and off, with Drop_DSM on and off, with ReuseFFFF on and off, and every possible combination thereof - the 0x6658 is determined to thwart me! Edit...

Has Anyone Got a R7 260X Bonaire Working?

Correct. I'll check. Edit: It's definitely still showing up as 0x6658; I must be doing something wrong!

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.1 (346.03.03)

Have you tried booting into verbose mode with nvda_drv=1? That did it for me.

NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for OS X 10.11.1 (346.03.03)

Having this same issue with a GTX 460. Putting -v in the conflig.plist seems to do the trick. Not much of a hassle, but weird!

Has Anyone Got a R7 260X Bonaire Working?

Has anyone gotten an R7 260X Bonaire going in 10.11.1? Spoofing it is getting me nowhere so far. Edit: To clarify, the card is a Radeon R7 260X. It boots with no problems but it won't recognize the hardware. Its device id is 0x6658. I've tried spoofing it as 0x665C but it didn't change...
