Did you also implement backlight control as well as output on the DP? I tried the efi folder you uploaded earlier but no luck on getting the brightness control.
Either way, I got an almost fully functionally system thanks to you now. If I can't get the DP to work, it won't be a big deal but...
I agree with you that the trackpad is much more responsive in OSX thanks to your modified kext.
I don't need 4,5 finger gestures either. By any chance, did you manage to get the displayport working?
WOW! Thank you so much yves32 for working on the trackpad kext. I got multitouch gestures working. I hadn't turned on the laptop for a long time because the trackpad didn't work but now you've given new life to my XPS 12. Thanks a lot again.
@lordwill0722,
Where can you find the cypress...

It is the 64.99 USD (Or first option).
Overall the screen is great, I've been using it for a while now without any issues and the replacement process isn't difficult at all.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
As I mentioned on my post, the dell xps 12 is not longer my main laptop (I rarely use it due to the Cypress touchpad). That's why I don't have it on my signature or profile. This laptop has HD4000.
The one on my signature is a dell xps 13 with a Synaptics touchpad and this one has HD4400.
Hello ericdong886,
The way I do it (which might not work for everyone) is to use Bettertouchtool [paid app for like $4 USD] and map the keyboard shortcuts to the recognized shortcuts in voodops2
Please see attached screenshot
Hello all,
For anyone that might stumble on this thread in the future, here is what I did to get the screen working with FULL graphics:
1) Do NOT inject any EDID.
2) Do not put anything under the ig-platform-id (Just blank).
3) Make sure to check the box that says inject Intel.
And that's how...
Hello all,
Just in case anyone was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the low resolution screen on your Asus UX32a to 1080p IPS...I can confirm that it works flawlessly. I can't believe that I've put up all this time with the low resolution.
I am not sure if it is against the rules to...
Hi Rehabman, Everyone.
I am also trying to get this model hackintoshed but I am stuck like everyone else with the "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport"
I went ahead and actually made a 16GB msata drive the initial booting disk (instead of creating a usb) to try to see if that would rule out...
Hi vbo,
I am trying to patch my DSDT/SSDT files as well but I am getting the same error message as this post "Compilation complete. 81 Errors, 53 Warnings, 70 Remarks, 195 Optimizations"
I am running the following iasl:
Intel ACPI Component Architecture
ASL+ Optimizing Compiler version...
Have you resolved your issue yet?
You'd would have to post a picture of your Boot Options so that I can see if it is possible. It is usually under "Add boot entry" or something similar.
I've had to do it on a Dell and Asus so that it recognizes the boot path...
Out of curiosity, why do you have two Mac OS X entries?
If you can manually add a boot entry, you can try adding a new boot option and the path would be something like this:
EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi
I've had to do it in the past with 2 of my hacks or else I'd get the same error as yours...
A couple of things I can think of:
1) Check SATA mode on BIOS.
2) Check booting mode (UEFI vs Legacy).
3) Check boot devices order and make sure your hackintosh drive is bootable from.
