NEED help - GA-X58A-UD7 Sierra Install Issue

Going Bald thanks for the feedback! I tried that this morning based on your suggestion but I was still having issues. But you put me on the right track! I continued to mess around with the config.plist file using a program called playlist edit pro, and I think my issues were being caused by...

NEED help - GA-X58A-UD7 Sierra Install Issue

This morning I successfully got Sierra booted on a GUID partitioned drive. I did this by replacing everything that was in the EFI partition on the new boot drive with all of the EFI files from the thumb drive(originally supplied by @goingbald in a previous post). After the sierra install, The...

Then I checked the config.plist on the USB stick. And although I can't fully read this code, it looks like Scan...

NEED help - GA-X58A-UD7 Sierra Install Issue

thanks for the responce trs96! I believe I had it in sata0 figuring that the sata0 port would be the default priority port for the MB but I will double check that this afternoon when I attempt to install again.

NEED help - GA-X58A-UD7 Sierra Install Issue

Hi Going Bald, Thank you for responding to me and assuring me that it is possible to get this computer upgraded. That is a great help! Just like this time for Yosemite I used unibeast to make my USB, so I believe the would be a clover boot loader. I'm going to give it another shot this...
