I don't really know what to say then. I only had a problem with the stripes not the screen being cut off.
Maybe trying a different mini display-port adapter would fix it?
I had a similar issue. I believe it's caused because of the mini dp converter. In 10.8 all you have to do is go to sleep and then wake up and it will be perfect!
In 10.8.2 the issue is completely fixed I believe.
I'm using the overclocked SSDT from MultiBeast. I need the DSDT for the Interim Realtek Ivy Bridge Lion AppleHDA. I tried changing Generate P-states to no I was stuck at 16x.
After reinstalling the SSDT and and changing Generate P-states back to yes, I'm still stuck at 16x. :banghead: :banghead:
Just tried it and I only get the 16x and 42x multipliers but now I'm able to do this with the MacPro3.1 system after someone helped set up a proper DSDT for me.
I used the MacPro3.1 from MultiBeast at first. I have tried many of them including MacMini 5.1 which KPs. But after KPing I edited it to be Macpro3.1 in single user mode. I didn't edit it properly but I'm able to to boot up and have the 16x and 42x multiplier work. There must be something...
It very simple to build the card. All you do is plug in to wireless chip into the adapter and then attach the antennas from the adapter to the chip. After that you just put into a PCI Express slot.
It's cheap and will always have support.
