macOS Mojave is Now Available on the Mac App Store

I have 2 SSDs. I updated from App Store successfuly on my cloned SSD which is for daily backup. Then I used Carbon cloner to copy the cloned SSD to the other SSD which I use every day. BTW, I use ADM graphics card, so I don't have to wait for the new graphic card driver.

    macOS 10.13.3 Supplemental Update

It works like a charm. Please note that my graphics card is RX 580 and macOS supports RX 580 natively. That's why I haven't got any problems. No matter what, clone your SSD (include EFI) beforehand.

[sierra] Random Session Ejection / logout

I don't know how many monitors do you use. If you connected many 4K monitors to a single graphic card, it might cause low video memory, as a result, you will be logged out sporadically. If you are not sure of it, just check the video memory usage.

System massively slowed down by Safari (or Chrome)

Mine was even worse. My mackintosh froze and logged out sporadically. I disabled “Disable Canvas Accelerated Drawing” and “Disable Full Page Accelerated Drawing”. So far so good. Close Safari Open the Terminal app (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) Enter the following command: defaults write...

Update Directly to macOS High Sierra

To save trouble, it's better to use Carbon Cloner to clone your SSD and install clover EFI boot loader in the EFI partition of the cloned SSD. And then follow the instructions https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/update-directly-to-macos-high-sierra.232707/ to install Hi Sierra on the cloned SSD...

I had the same problem. It turned out that I failed to upgrade Clover EFI. If you still can upgrade your Clover EFI, please upgrade it at first. When you upgrade Clover EFI, please DO select Customize -> Install clover in ESP. If you upgrade Clover EFI successfully, the EFI partition will be...

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

I use PCIE SSD. But it is not because of SSD. I created a ram disk in RAM, that's why it's fast. I think there is no SSD is faster than RAM so far.

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

No. I use a Hackintosh. At first I boot into Yosemite and then copy the virtual machine to the ramdisk. It's pretty quick. It takes around 15 seconds from my PCIE SSD to DDR4 ram disk, the speed is around 1GB/s. Then I start the virtual machine. Before I shutdown the virtual machine, I backup...

Post your SSD benchmarks using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test

I installed an OS X on a 32GB ram disk. DDR4 2400HZ. It should be 60G/s, but the file system is lame, that's why it's only 3GB/s.
