Looks great. I'm going to try a fresh install tonight, and hope it works. I also have 4730s with 8GB of memory, but due to the hangs and glitches couldn't work with Lion. Hope this solves it. Thank you.

With Snow Leopard you can use the 'normal' installation disk. Problem was I wasn't actually booting iBoot, it went straight to Chimera on my hard drive. Guess something went wrong during burning. Now i've burned correctly to a CD (instead of DVD) and I'm actually booting iBoot. No Kernel...

The RTL8188CE wifi isn't supported. You can't make it work. You need to replace it with an Atheros one.

Don't know about 1.. But in case unsupported, just replace the bad one with an Atheros one.. you can buy them from HP. There is a thread about that.

I have a quick question. I've got Lion and Windows on the same drive, 2 partitions. But i want to see how snow leopard runs, can I just resize my Lion partition and install snow leopard on it? Or will that ruin everything. I can't lose my windows partition since all my work is on there, so...

Thanks for the scripts, makes it a lot easier. But I'm wondering, did you edit it for the 4530s or also for the 4730s? Since I'm still getting those symptoms and errors in my log.. I might play around with the table to see what happens, need some more research though :p
