Hey folks --
I updated my Dell XPS 9360 to MacOS Ventura, but every time I restart it, it comes back with a kernel panic.
I was wondering what I need to fix in my OpenCore configuration to fix this issue. Please see the attached documents.
I thought I would kick off the discussion on the Dell XPS 9360, the original MacBook Air killer.
I have macOS Monterey 12.0.1 running smoothly on my machine, and thought I would upload my EFI folder.
This is based off theQuert's excellent repo, with display brightness functionality added back...
Hey everyone,
As you might have noticed, the speakers on the Dell XPS 13 sound very flat and tinny. In Windows this is corrected by software. Consequently, I did some research and found a great free equalizer app called eqMac2. You can find it here. I've attached a screenshot of my...
Hey all, it's been a while since I've been on the forum, but I wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who made the Dell XPS 13 into a fantastic hackintosh. Without the efforts of TheDarkVoid, jkbuha, RehabMan, and countless others, I'd have sprung for an underpowered MacBook a long time ago...
Hey all,
I installed OSX 10.13.4 on my Dell XPS 9360, and MacOS works well. However, I have three problems:
I lose Bluetooth after reboot and after sleep. I went back in the forum and read previous forum posts. I used DarkVoid's excellent Clover folder, which I have attached to this forum post...
Hey RehabMan, thanks for your help. I figured it out.
1. OSX 10.13.4 is not as of yet (April 1, 2018) supported by UniBeast. We have to wait for UniBeast 8.3. As per MacMan, here is a temporary fix:
rm -f /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra/.IAPhysicalMedia
rm -rf /Volumes/Install\ macOS\...
My bad, the EFI is the default one generated by UniBeast. I tried to download the new High Sierra Installer for OS X 10.13.4, and generate a new USB with Unibeast, but now the USB drive is not showing up at all. I'm absolutely stumped. Please find the EFI folder attached.
Hey All,
I am waiting for my WiFi card to arrive from China, and I was wondering if it's possible to run the High Sierra installer without WiFi. I have an OSX compatible USB WiFi dongle, but it requires additional drivers in order to run in OSX, and is not detected by the installer. Every time I...
It looks like a fantastic all around build. My only concern would be whether the low voltage CPUs cause a bottleneck with that GPU. :o On the other hand, it might be worth waiting as the i7 version is coming out in August. I'm planning on buying one for college and then mounting it on the back...
After my poor Dell Mini 10v bit the dust (10.6.7), I'm in need of a new laptop. I'm kinda sorta experienced when it comes to hackintoshing.
Very quick into about myself:
I've done five computers so far, two Dell Mini 10v (these worked perfectly), one Asus 1001PXB (everything was working except...
