    need help with system definitions

Well I tried it because it looked acceptable :) And I did update clover before installing Mojave using Multibeast ;) I got it working again, fixed it using vnc on my ipad. Luckily screen sharing was activated. The system could not see my displays with Mac Pro definitions... What's a LilU? ;)...

    need help with system definitions

Today I installed Mojave on a cloned drive with High Sierra. Install went reasonably well, after a while I had everything running perfectly. Until I noticed Quick look wasn't working with jpg's. Did some searching and found changing system definitions would help. So I used Multibeast to install...

    Security Update 2016-003 (yosemite)

Installed the security update today (bit late I know...) and also the updated Nvidia driver. Since 2 boots later I'm getting the Boot0 error. Tried both methods found at http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/boot0-error-the-official-guide.65706/ but no success... I made a backup before upgrading, so...

[Solved] upgrade from 10.9.5 to 10.10.3 -> displays not detected

Could the MacPro6,1 system profile help on power management? My overclock to 4.5GHz isn't working anymore and Final cut pro x seems slower with 2 GTX780's instead of just 1. UPDATE: overclock solved, forgot to delete NullCPUPowerManagement.kext 2 x GTX780 issue unsolved

[Solved] upgrade from 10.9.5 to 10.10.3 -> displays not detected

Hey there, been a while... I finally updated to Yosemite today, did a clean install on a new SSD, and it went very good, thanks to the installation guide on this site. I have a TV connected to the hdmi port of the motherboard, that's what I used during installation. Everything went fine...

Trying to use latest MultiBeast - "There is no (Chameleon Boot .plist) file on the target volume".

I'm in the middle of a project and can't afford computerproblems now. I do all testing on a cloned drive but I guess if I want to be safe I have to unplug the main system drive and install Chimera on the clone... So the question is: do I have to unplug the main drive? thx

Trying to use latest MultiBeast - "There is no (Chameleon Boot .plist) file on the target volume".

Same problem here on when I update from 10.9.2 to 10.9.4 when following the update guide after trying to install the ALC898 and trim patch. System running great for a year now, luckily I'm trying this on a cloned sysdrive.

Fix for OpenCL crash with GK110B based cards

About a year and a half ago I worked on a Mac Pro with 2 x 5770 GPU's and Resolve lite showed 1 for GUI and 1 for processing. That was on Resolve 8 or 9, doesn't it show it like that anymore?

Fix for OpenCL crash with GK110B based cards

I've been thinking maybe because with 2 GPU's its PCIx8, not X16... and if FCPX uses only 1 GPU... In Resolve I didn't run any benchmarks yet, but what's strange is that in Resolve preferences there's only 1 GTX780.

Fix for OpenCL crash with GK110B based cards

I have 2 x GTX780's (GK110 and GK110b) and finally everything's working thanks to the new Nvidia driver and CUDA update. That's fantastic. I have a good luxmark score, 2631, but in Final cut x, renders take twice the amount of time as when I'm using only 1 GTX780. Who can explain this?

    ColorSync Profiles

When I export a graded video out of Davinci Resolve, and I open it in different players, like Quicktime 7, Mpeg Streamclip or Elgato Turbo.HD, the colours look different in every application. I've been searching and it seems that in Windows it is possible that different applications use...

    Dual GTX 780 performance

Just ran the fcpx benchmarks on my updated system with dual GTX780 (GK110a + gk110b): 10.9.2, WebDriver-331.01.01f01, fcpx10.1.1 - FCPX Gaussian blur: 42 sec. - Triple fx: 81 sec. - Luxmark: Good results for Luxmark but very poor in FCPX. It's twice as fast using only 1 card.
