I have followed the idiot guide to the letter, my values are persistent, series is good and everything but i am getting the 'call apple' thingie. My AppleID works on my macbook and my iPad, just not on my hackintosh. Am i screwed?

I can confirm that the ASUS USB-BT400 works out of the box with current El Capitan and sees the magic mouse (1), in case anyone is wondering in the future.

I have no clue, they sometimes simply suck.

I usually order from amazon.de, they got all recommended dongles, but won`t send them to me :( I ordered an ASUS USB-BT400, i will report back if it works in case anyone finds this thread later on.

Hello I am looking for an USB Bluetooth dongle to connect a magic mouse to. Unfortunately the ones suggested in the Buyers guide are not available in my country(Austria) and amazon germany won't ship them to me. Could you guys suggest any dongles that work with el capitan out of the box?

Does this still work for El Capitan?
