What about AMD's R9 Series (280x, 290x) on our Hackintoshes?. Further explanation.
Has anybody got the R290 working (not the x version). Though I haven't seen any guides, apparently it's just a simple kext modification (http://www.******.com/r/hackintosh/comments/2920fv/radeon_r9_290_vs_nvidia_gtx_770/).- tommywommy

Help! AMD/ATI Radeon R9 290 (non X) on my Yosemite 10.10 Hackintosh
Any news on this? I also just installed yosemite and have a r290, but currently using the Intel HD 4600 onboard graphics. Would ideally want to make use of my r290. Thanks Thomas GA-Z87x-OC 4570k 16GB RAM r290 (not working as of yet, currently running on board HD4600)- tommywommy
