The thing is you can't find 6000 series GPU easily right now any way, so I guess there is not much disappointment at the moment. By the time 6000 GPU is supported (if it is supported at all), the supply situation will hopefully be a lot better.
Your scenario is most likely due to the incorrect settings in OpenCore, rather than the fact that Clover fixed the problem. If anything, OpenCore is closer to a genuine Mac than Clover. Most people find OpenCore to be more stable with less problems than Clover.
Gigabyte has released some new...
As per my hardware spec on the left, it's GPU without IGPU.
9400F (no IGPU) + RX570.
I've also found that Opencore is much more reliable than clover ever was. If you are still on Clover, that's the first thing I would try. Also proper USB is required for sleep/wake to work properly.
I've found the solution for my 94360 based card.
It turns out the serial port being enabled in BIOS is the culprit of the Apple Watch unlock failure after sleep.
The latest BIOS F8 doesn't have the option to disable serial port, so I had to downgrade to the previous BIOS where this option...
Just to report back the testing result:
The F9K beta BIOS has a bug that prevents it from displaying BIOS screen properly, and black screen is all I got.
Tried F7 BIOS which allowed me to disable serial port. I can confirm that Apple Watch Unlock now works after sleep!!
Finally a solution is...
I too am having black screen when attempting to enter BIOS setting screen. Tried both HDMI and DP cables, unplug and replug to no avail. Couldn't get into the BIOS screen.
Where did you get the beta BIOS firmware for this M/B? Is there a link to check if they have newer versions, or a way to...
While attempting to use F7 firmware for Z390 M Gaming to disable serial port, I had CFG locked again and couldn't remember how to unlock it. Upon searching some old links (attached below), I discovered the new F9K beta BIOS that the author claimed to provide both CFG unlock and Serial port...
That's exciting to see a working solution. It's lame that Gigabyte decided to remove the option to disable serial port in newer firmware.
I am not sure if I want to trade Apple Watch Unlock with an older firmware.
One thing surely will disappear - an option to run Windows on Mac hardware via bootcamp. Will this hurt the sale of ARM Mac? I know many people using MacBook or iMac to run Windows, as they prefer the Apple hardware but still need Windows for work related applications.
Didn't realise these links in post #3 were clickable when I read them the first time around. Thanks so much, all the devices are now with the correct System Information labels.

I noticed in your config.plist, you have the properties of PCI devices defined. I am seeing a few items that aren't defined, would you be kind enough to advise how to find the address of these devices?
Also my BCM4360 is installed on PCI slot 4, instead of your slot 3. What PCI...
My experience is somehow different:
The old setup using Gigabyte H170-Gaming had Apple Watch Unlock working 100% of the time on 10.15.2.
After upgrading to Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming, it still works 100% of the time on 10.15.2. What I mean by 100% of the time is it still works after sleep cycle...
I can confirm DRM works with shikigva=80 on iMac 19,1 on 10.15.3. This WEG argument tricks the DRM system to think it’s iMac Pro. Apple TV+ shows play for 5 seconds without this argument, and now I can watch the entire 1 hour episode.
On a separate issue I’m still having, Apple Watch unlock...
