Yes! Totally solved with HDMI. No problems at all. Just in case I installed with IGFX, installed the webs drivers and then proceeded to use the card. Good luck!

I'm happy for you! It's hard to say... In my experience i had reboot loops before reaching the log-in screen, and sometimes the screen would go to sleep and never came back. All threads suggested to boot with IGFX and then install the web drivers. If you experience some of this problems further...

As that causes problems, Boot mode is set to UEFI/Legacy and when I want to boot windows I press F12 to boot the Windows drive directly. Hope I helped

Works perfectly!! Boots fast and withowt additional flags, USB3 works perfect, sleep works, the GTX980 works fully, no known bugs or freezes up to now. Been using it every day for almost two weeks. Except for Apple Store and iMessage, which I will be fixing soon but for me it is unimportant.
