Same here. Same versions as OP. Changed all kexts, etc like I usually do. Freezes about 10 lines in. I'm suspecting the new HFSplus driver. Maybe not. I get same stop using a big sur usb too with orig hfsplus.

Updated OC to 0.6.8 and latest kexts. Big Sur 11.2.3 to 11.3 update finished but broke my mouse and keyboard. Edit: moved keyb/mse to any other usb (2/3). and they work. But...the 2 usb2 ports over the round ps2 port don't work. I'll have to read up on usb mapping which I've never had...

I picked up an Asrock H410m-hdv 10100 combo at local MC pretty cheap last month. On Catalina I can't get Igpu to 1536 mb over hdmi yet. Tried lots of combo's of smbios 19,1 20,1 with 3E9B0007 3E9B0000 but no go. Have same platform settings as OC guide for Comet Lake too. Out of ideas.

Used page 1 to create Catalina usb installer with latest clover from GitHub. Put it in the PC and I get no Catalina choice. ...just the round options, reboot, etc ones. Usb built on latest Mojave no problems.
