The last time I tried this method I cannot do system updates. Is it fixed?

Ended up switching to a R9 270. A nice budget choice from a GTX660. And performs similar to a RX560 apart from the power consumption and the vRAM.

That was like my plan originally, then I realise my fabrication skills is terrible then I only go for the USB and the RJ45 Port, since I uses HDMI audio. Also I skipped the original fans since I like fan control and a quiet pc. really a nice build!

Since High Sierra promised eGPU support Im fairly sure the GTX660 will be supported soon. But we have to suffer for the moment LOL

Yeah 10.13 Only. In 10.12 it was perfect, so perfect that the Nvidia Web Driver doesn't work well with my hack (The GPU frequency doesn't go up)

I got a GTX660 and I got massive screen artifact, with iGPU disabled. Pain in the ass to work with those as a graphic designer.
