What about AMD's R9 Series (280x, 290x) on our Hackintoshes?. Further explanation.

I just installed 10.9.2, so far, no luck with my sapphire 290 (reference). It doesn't seem to crap out like before (also conflicted with fakesmc gpu plugins...), but its still not recognized by system profiler, only has a default resolution of 1024x768, my intel HD 4600 works fine in...

    [Success] Guide: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 (EUFI)

Good news for those using the iMac 12,2 SMBIOS, I got 6 P-states working on my OC'd 2500K by using Minihack's SSDT (he apparently added additional p-states from the OC'd MB SSDT profile to up to 5ghz) Since, I'm only at 4.5ghz, you probably don't need his, but I'm linking it anyway. I then used...

Help with Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 (UEFI) build

I just got my install working using Alfa's guide, I guess by pure luck in one install, I had issues, but those were fixed with disk utility in Unibeast setup (have you tried repairing permissions thru unibeast?). The whole no root device found sounds like a BIOS/UEFI problem, maybe also check...

Just want to say thank you Alfa, your guide rocks! I just installed ML on my Z68X-UD3H-B3 this evening, had some rough patches, but actually only had to do one install overall (a first in a while!). I have a 6870, so I had to start off with the HD3000 driver and then switch over to the 6870...

    CARBIDE 400R RTL

Have you tried pure usb 2.0 drives? also, are you plugging into the headers or using the pass-thru USB dongle that connects to the back of your I/O ports? My Gigabyte board and 400R case doesn't currently like usb 3.0 drives in the front (I'm plugging mine into the headers on the MB), I can...
