I'm still around, but not that active. There is a simple fix. Just do a clean installation on Yosemite and then install ALC898 from MultiBeast Mavericks 6.2.2 and you need to add kext-dev-mode=1 as a kernel flag if you don't have it. I use Chimera BTW. It's literally that simple. Hope I helped. :)

dont really now mate, I only know my ram is 1600 MHz capable but when I put it in my system it was clocked at 1333MHz so I manually changed it to 1600 MHz thats all I know and BTW GeekBench is more CPU oriented so that may be the cause
